I couldn't believe how very soft these brushes were for the $$. The first thing I do with new makeup brushes is give them a good washing. The photos I enclosed are of the already washed brushes. Yes they are still soft. I really like the bigger brushes with the fatter handles. These are them. And I really had no idea that face brushes were available in so many styles & angles. The bigger brushes are in fact marked. While washing them I held the metal neck of the brushes & the handles giving them a good tug to see if the brush heads separate from the handles , none of them did.They did not come in any kind of carry bag or pouch but I have my own makeup station will I will keep them in, no worries.
