Was hesitant due to mixed reviews but glad I chanced it!
I needed a new food processor since my Cuisinart broke but was on a very tight budget. The great reviews were promising but I was concerned about the several 1-star reviews. The under $35 price tag convinced me to give it a try. I've waited after several uses and washes to give a fair review:
I love it! It is lightweight but the suction cups keep it stable on the counter. I can easily move it to my storage shelf after each use to keep my small counter clutter free.
I've used all the attachments with great results. The slicing blade gave perfectly sliced potatoes & carrots. It was fast! The other grating side grated several onions in no time too. The mouth of the feeder is wide but not large enough for an onion so I had to cut them in half before grating.
The dough blade made it very easy to make pizza dough and shortbread but I did have to stop, scrape the sides & bottom of the bowl for even kneading.
The regular blade chops veggies pretty evenly and I made a sun dried tomato paste in minutes to stir into soups & pastas.
You have to make sure everything is properly locked into place or it won't start which is a good safety feature even though this confused me at first when using the slicing disk for the first time because you still have to add all the rest of the pieces of the top in place. I have washed the parts several times in the top rack of my dishwasher without any issues.
The motor isn't as strong as my last one and I have to let it rest between several pulses to avoid the over-heating/burning smell of over use but it's not like I paid for a higher end item. Well worth the money spent & time saved from manual chopping/grating. It has encouraged me to be more creative in the kitchen again. A great value & I'm very happy with my new purchase!
