WHAT IS PLUTO TV? ----------------------------- Pluto TV is a satellite/cable tv cord-cutting app that is 100% free, and offers up a similar experience to watching live tv with a guide and everything. Pluto TV curates public content into organized channels. It collects media from various free sources and sorts them into categories. There are over 40+ free channels available to you right out of the box, plus digital music stations as well! You can access Pluto TV straight from your Internet browser on Windows, Mac, or Linux, as well as downloading the free Pluto TV app for Android and iOS devices, plus Amazon Fire TV as well! The apps are light, seem to be reliable and stable. The feeds are clear and audio is of a good quality. You can also install Pluto TV on Roku, Amazon Fire TV stick, Chromecast, PlayStation 4 and Apple TV, all free of course. PLUTO TV CONTENT: ------------------------------ Most of the content is from public sources, there are some established names on there too such as CNBC, NBC, CBSN, Cats 24/7, IGN, CNET and a ton of others. Pluto TV has just done a deal with Hulu to offer some well-known content from the platform too. There aren't any new movies or tv shows available here, or much of any sports content either. There are some pretty good content to be found here though, and since it's completely free it's a perfect addition to your lineup if your trying to go the cord-cutting route. The service offers a diverse range of content for free and doesn’t ruin it with too many ads. It’s obvious from the amount of action, stoner, and extreme sports content that this is service is currently aimed at college-age viewers. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check Pluto TV out if you aren’t in that demographic. Pluto TV won't replace your Netflix or Hulu subscription, but it is a wonderful add-on entertainment app that is completely free & extremely easy to use & navigate, so why not give it a try? You might just be pleasantly surprised like I was!
