that's about what I looked like when I slipped and fell in the shower last ...
you ever seen those national geographic type shows that show a seal sliding off an iceberg into the ocean? that's about what I looked like when I slipped and fell in the shower last week. Fortunately I went down in a smooth fluid motion and only broke a single rib (i'm a 375# fat guy btw)
So far these have worked VERY well. The trick to them is CLEANING YOUR TUB CORRECTLY before applying them. I scattered baking soda over the tub surface and then sprayed white vinegar on top op it, creating a "paste" and rubbed that in with a scrub brush. I then rinsed the tub and plugged it and applied %100 Isopropyl alcohol. I let that set for about 20 minutes and then with a clean towel I "dabbed" the tub dry. Then I applied the Bath Treads. 5 baths and 8 showers later, they are still right where I placed them.
UPDATE....Its been about 8 months since I applied the bath treads and not a single one of them has even began to peel. Between my wife and two children the tub is used at least 4-5 nights per week for baths, and the Mrs. takes baths so hot you could cook lobster for dinner in there...so they have been put through the test in my book.
UPDATE...2 1/2 years into the bath treads and still going strong. Not even 1 of them has pealed off yet. Side note, getting tired of lobster for dinner.
