I ordered this bed for my doxie. The size and thickness of the foam is as expected and with it being orthopedic, I am satisfied in that aspect. I ordered the white and tan one which shows the dirt and fur more than I would like but it is washable. The Sherpa top keeps him warm and comfortable however I don't like the poly-canvas underside. (Sherpa is faux fur blends of polyester and acrylic) I wanted water resistance but thought I could use both side for him to sleep on. The poly-canvas is rough and very noisy. It does have a removable cover and I have washed it many times and has held up very well. But the zipper is only at one end which makes it extremely difficult to put the cover back on. I buy most of my products online so I value honesty and rely heavily on product reviews so I offer my honest evaluation in order to help others.
