I wanted a raincoat for our German Shepherd so when he comes back into the house after the snow or rain, I have much less of him to wipe down & dry. This coat it "PERFECT"!!! I did not want to spend a lot of $$ because I wasn't sure if he would try to take it off or simply chew it up. Zeus couldn't care less. It didn't bother him at all. He wore it for about 2 hours today here in michigan. It is extremely lightweight, seriously only ounces. It slips over your dog's head & you just velcro the "T" shape that goes under his chest. There is plenty of wiggle room. Our Zeus weighs 100lbs. He measures 28 1/2" long, his neck is 25" & his chest (girth) was 37" . I ordered the Xtra large. He came in today all white from snow. We just shook the snow off of the coat. It was completely dry. So was Zeus' back. I definitely would recommend this for any dog owner just wanting to keep their family member a little drier. This is really not keeping your dog warmer like those Sherpa or thicker coats, but they will stay dry with far less shaking when they come back in the house. ☆☆NOTE; the title says COAT, but reading the description it clearly states this product is a dog JACKET.
