The light bulb came in broken. The way they pack it not sure how any survive. I went to the hardware store and bought a new one. The lamp is lovely. When unpacking have a towel ready and unpack the salt one piece at a time to not get salt all over and place the bulb in and arrange the salt how you like to cover. It adds warmth to any room. Turn off when not around. Do not leave this lamp on when you’re not home. It very nice. Be prepared to have a spare bulb as I said mine was broken
