I just received my brush set. I was thrilled to receive them!! I opened the box and began to unsleeve them. First impression is they are really nice and attractive.the bristles are soft yet not overly soft. They have substance to them. While removing them from their sleeves I noticed that one rush had bristles barely sticking out of the end of the ferul. I thought this was odd so I looked at the card to see which one this could be. Not identify able at all, so I VERY gently, barely eve, gave the bristles a slight move... at this point the bristles jus slid out and went everywhere. Notice the pic... That was my MAJOR disappointment of these brushes. I did figure out that it was the flat-top shadow brush and that particular brush is the MAIN one that I was looking forward to trying out. So I get to use all but the biggest motivation for purchasing this set. Thus far I have used a brush cleaning/disinfecting spray to give them an initial clean and the rest seem fine. No bristle loss detected I that process. In conclusion, I gave this 4 stars for the following reasons. 1. The time from order to in hand was excellent. Total props for that. 2. Overall I think these brushes will be great. 3. I deducted a full star rating simply for the brush That I can't use. Can I still recommend these brushes??? Yes, because nothing is perfect and can have a problem from time to time. I'm going to contact the seller to see if they are willing to replace the one brush. I hope this review helps.
