The best thing I like about this is that it should keep the dirt from getting onto my carseats, the dog hair will fly but the dog's paws should not leave a mark as the material is very strong. The next best thing is that it has side flaps that zipper and they should keep the dogs away from stepping up onto the doors. If your car is not on the large sides I would stick with the standard large size but if it is a a large SUV I would go with the extra large size as it would probably cover more area.
