I read 5,431 reviews on this rug, which is dumb because we’re talking about an inexpensive rug. I was not ready to purchase the 10k rug of my dreams, so I got this one in the 11’ x 15’ size. It is thin & not very soft, which is perfect for high traffic areas, or for disposing of bodies. I placed it on top of a .5” rug pad. You will want to do this if it is going on an uncarpeted floor, as it helped add much needed plushness. The color & pattern are EXACTLY as pictured in the listings: neutral but attractive. Any review deducting stars because of smell or “it doesn’t lay flat”, should be disregarded because those are the same people on HGTV’s Fixer Upper that walk in a room & gripe about wall color as if paint does not exist. In other words, it all works itself out over time & is fixable. Again, this is an inexpensive rug.
