2023-01-05 I'm updating my rating to 5 stars and changing my point of view below. I do have a separate (dedicated) Instant Air Fryer now, and it is very handy to have the Air Frying lid as well to be used with the Instant Pot simultaneously if/when needed. For example, if I want to cook let's say "hamburgers with sweet potato fries" as I did today, I can cook them at the same time. The hamburgers in the air fryer, and the sweet potato fries in the Instant Pot with the Instant Air Fryer lid. 2022-01-20 First impressions I just received it yesterday. It looks like a quality product, just like my Instant Pot Ultra. I glanced at the instructions and then YouTube and cooked sweet potatoes fries. It was easy to use and the fries were delicious. Having said that, this is probably not the optimal approach to "air frying". Why do I say that? I usually do more research than this time before I order a product. Instead, this time, it was an impulse purchase after having read somewhere that Instant Pot had announced it recently, based on my excellent experience with Instant Pot Ultra and a quick glance at the positive reviews in Amazon about this lid. However, once I got it, it “hit me” that this is just a half-appliance and that between the lid and its accessories, it occupies as much space in my kitchen or cabinets as a full air fryer; it costs as much as a typical air-fryer, and I can't use it simultaneously with my "Instant Pot". So, it might be better to buy a stand-alone air fryer.
