First, the company wrote me a personal email to thank me and let me know to contact them should I have any questions, concerns, issues, etc. There's such a huge difference between companies that provide excellent customer service that I will only recommend them from now on. Installation was easy and I ended up using a combination of the approaches. They have flat tacks for wood frames and very strong velcro for metal frames. Our house is metal but our door frame is wood - without wanting to adjust the width, I simply used the tacks into the top of the wood frame and then used the velcro down the sides which just touched the metal. Simple, easy, effective. It took our cats some time to figure out that they could easily push through and we helped them by using a bobby pin to hold back a tiny corner. They eventually got it and we removed that - they have no issues now. It always reseals itself completely and has been a HUGE game changer for keeping mosquitoes and bees out of our house.
