These storage bins work well for sorting and organizing small parts in the shop or for hobbies and are a much, much better deal than Sortimo or Bosch. I have a mix of the Stanley and the Harbor Freight versions that sit in shelving so I can use these like pull out drawers. I can pull out the appropriate drawer of fasteners, for example machine screws and take it to my work if I don't know the exact size I need. Or I can pull out a compartment of #8 3/4 inch phillips head if I need that particular size. The bight yellow makes it easy to label the individual bins if desired. The HF version has fewer but slightly taller compartments, the length and width of the compartments are common with the Stanley, but since the compartments are slightly taller they are not interchangeable with the Stanley. The plastic for the lid of the HF is not crystal clear like the Stanley and is more pliable. Much easier to see inside the Stanley. The HF version had about 20 brads that escaped the bin, while the Stanley had 2 or 3. So for storing thin parts like washers, small nails, or brads the Stanley did much better at keeping parts in their bins. The HF version would be fine for screws, nuts, or large headed nails. The Stanley is about 1.5 to 2x the cost. The Stanley has a yellow handle which makes it easy to write on with a marker to label what's inside.
