To the ones complaining about the scupper holes taking in water: You don't need to be so quick just to badmouth a product without actually calling the manufacturer to inquire and give them a chance. I know many Americans.are used to buying inferior product from "overseas" by forced labor or children and there is no recourse. One of the reasons I bought this kayak is because it is made in USA, employing AMERICAN workers. One simple phone call I talked to a very nice customer service person in Michigan and she promptly mailed me 4 scupper plugs that fit like a glove, problem solved. For the money this product is superb. I didn't buy my Ford pickup expecting it to behave like a corvette and then complain about the fact. I knew in my budget I wasn't getting a 3K kayak. That said I feel I got more kayak for the money I paid! I easily upgraded the seat with a NoLimits seat from Academy sports using the same two screwholes, see that website for a picture and description how to install. Now I have a padded seat top and bottom that sits like a high dollar kayak- for 29 bucks! So I have about 300 dollars invested total for a nice kayak that gets me on the water and I can catch fish I cannot complain with that! BUY AMERICAN when you can- it matters!
