I was a little nervous about the onscreen fingerprint reader. It's a technology that's still a little new. Google pixel got loads of problems with it, so I got the Samsung Galaxy S22 instead. Read some of the reviews on here saying they couldn't get the fingerprint protector to work. Although it's not ideal, I got it work by putting pressure on each press, meaning when I got to unlock my screen with my finger, it's not just a tap, but an actual press like, like pressing a button. Same issue when I tried to register my fingerprint in the first place. I also went in the settings to turn on the "touch sensitivity". So far so good! Will update if anything happens. Also, it's kind of weird they would send 3 screen protectors and only 2 lens protector. and the one they sent me is already chipping off. Hoping these protectors will do their job when the time comes for an accident! Update: The seller reached out to me with tips on better fingerprint functionality. That's pretty considerate of them. Here are the steps they gave me and some of them coincide with what I discovered on my own. 1.) Open the fingerprint recognition sensitivity (Now sure if this refers to the Touch sensitivity in general or the setting to register fingerprints. I did both.) 2.) After applying the screen protector, reset the fingerprint, set at least 2 fingerprints for one finger. (this one is creative, I now have 4 fingerprints added. 2 per each thumb.) 3.) in the use of fingerprints, finger flat on the fingerprint recognition area (can not use the fingertips) + slightly hard press the fingerprint recognition area, let the finger in the fingerprint recognition area stay 1-2 seconds; (now this instruction was pretty much mandatory for me to even get it to work. During the registration process, I pretty much press my thumb flat until the screen told me to left it off, so it was quite a long process)
