I boil whole bean coffee in a teapot that doesn't have a strainer on it so I would end up with beans and particles in my coffee cup, so I've been on a search for something that would contain the beans. I wasn't sure about ordering these with reviews that said that they couldn't get the cap off once used, but ordered the two pack anyhow so I could use both of them at the same time to make coffee. They came in good condition and I used them right away. They take being boiled quite well and drain well after I take them out of the coffee. I did find that you have to make sure you thread them correctly which can be a little tricky. When I tightened the lid I went to where it was just snug, then loosened it back about a quarter of a turn. The lid stays on even through boiling and the lid screws off very easily. No more particles in my coffee cup! Now to see how long they last. Edit: After a year they are still holding up strong just stained from all the coffee I've brewed, love this product!
