Some might think, "Why should I pay $$ for something I can substitute with (free) old toothbrush??" Well, I have to admit that I was one of them, and I used to keep used toothbrushes around to clean up tight, difficult-to-get-to spaces. However, I never came to like the idea of keeping those around and occupying under sink space for the storage. So I decide to give this set a try. This Deep Clean Brush Set comes with two different size brush heads and like other Oxo products, they are very well built. I especially love that the handles have a nice grip feel to it and will not hurt your hand/palm even if you are applying a lot of pressure when you scrub. The first time I used it, I noticed right away that these brushes will be lasting much much longer than old toothbrushes, and most importantly cleans much better because of their hard bristles. After a while, I learned that this set is perfect to clean not only around fixtures and other tight spaces, but also cleaning microfiber clothes that I use to clean kitchen floors (I don't wear shoes in my house so they never get too dirty...). I use few liquid laundry detergent drops and apply some scrubbing strokes against the microfiber clothes. This deep cleans the clothes, and after hang dry, it's ready for the next use (saves a load of laundry cycle, not to mention saves water and energy). Old toothbrushes wasn't able to take as much as pressure as these Oxo Deep Clean Brush Set. After each use, I clean them with a drop of dish soap and rinse well for the next time use. They seem to dry fairly fast. I'm very happy that I bought this set and finally said good bye to old toothbrushes!
