For me this mirror was just perfect. I wanted a magnifying mirror with a light that was somewhat portable and wouldn't junk up my vanity with alot of cord, etc. It's a dainty mirror - not exceedingly big like some that mount on the wall, but how big is your face anyway? It's plenty. True, the light isn't blindingly bright, but it is just enough in my opinion. I shopped around quite a bit and did plenty of research before I purchased one of these, and this one best suited my needs. It's heavy enough that I can tell it is quality, light enough for me to pick up and use if I need to, and looks very nice in my bathroom. Looks alot better than some of the $99 mirrors I've looked at. Hope this helps!
