Consistent good fit and high quality with multiple Gel-Kayanos over the years
I have worn Gel-Kayano shoes for many years. My last 2 pairs were 22's. I regularly participate in high impact workouts and find that these shoes provide great support in the heels and balls of my feet. All my Gel-Kayanos have been a size 8M (regular shoe size 7M). This is a great shoe and, in my opinion, worth every penny. I've let friends talk me into buying other, less expensive, shoes over the years and in every case ended up replacing them almost immediately with a new pair of Gel-Kayanos. As I write this review, I have already worn these shoes for several workouts and find that they live up to my expectations. At first I was hesitant to buy a newer model of Gel-Kayano due to some of the reviews about fit and quality. To help provide input into your decision, I buy Softsole performance inserts and replace the inserts that come with the shoes. I am of slender build, in my mid-50s and have exercised in some capacity since I was a child (read many years of pounding on my feet). I have heel spurs, and know when it's time to buy new shoes when the balls of my feet start bothering me. I hope you find this review helpful. Have now had these shoes for a month. Have exercised in them 3-5x a week and still love them.
