So I was pissed at first as I tried to mount this rod. Kept twisting it 'till my wrists were sore. Then I broke down and read the directions.it was one of those moments- like when the wizard of Oz goes from black and white to color- it all made sence and was very simple to install. It looks great, has nice silicon type grips in the suction cup ends and is very, very secure. Pretty sure I could do pull-ups on this baby, if I could only do a pull-up. 5 star
