I have degenerative disc disease and fibromyalgia. I flew from Wisconsin to Colorado and drove back all in three days. This cushion helped immensely. My butt never went numb, my sciatica never got pinched, and my back was not as painful as it should have been. (Nothing can make pain disappear.) It helped my posture and pressure on my lower back. I'm so happy I bought this. I highly recommend.
