These really do work. I was using the homemade soapy water and light trick but got tired of accidentally spilling the water, so I ordered these. They are so much easier to use than the water. Place a sheet of sticky paper in, keep it plugged in 24/7. Vacuum every so often to stir the fleas up and get them to hatch out. And when your sticky paper gets full you just take it out and put in a new sheet. It's that simple! These helped me figure out which areas were my hot spots. And they've been catching fleas daily now for the past 2 months. If you are trying to use these in a room where your pets also still go then they aren't as effective. Of course the fleas will go after a living thing before they will the trap, so use it in an empty room for best results. I have sprayed and vacuumed over and over and still have fleas hatching out of that last life stage. So be patient, it takes a good 8 weeks or more to get rid of them. An added bonus is that I've also caught spiders and other ugly bugs I didn't even know I had.
