I purchased this after losing two flat screen TVs in less than 2 weeks because of my autistic son and his meltdowns. I kept an older HEAVY model that he couldn't really mess with but when that died, we decided to try a flat screen again since he's been working so hard with his tss and bcm. I bought this screen protector as a back up since when he was 3 he found a metal pipe to a bed we were taking apart and beat the screen with it. The next TV lasted two days. I'm determined that the WILL NOT happen again because I can't afford another tv. I read the good reviews and thought it was worth a shot. Instructions were a tiny bit confusing but I figured it out. I'm not the brightest crayon when it comes to directions lol. It installed relatively easy and is clear to see through. The edges come up just a bit too short on the sides but it should protect it well enough. My moldel tv does not have a center part to connect the straps to so we Jerry rigged it to a side stand so hopefully that will work. I was expecting something A little more substantial for the price but hopefully it will do the job. I pray we'll never have to test it, but if we do, I'll make an update. I just hope the steep price is worth it because it's a lot cheaper than a new one. Go for it I say Update -Two years later and we still have the same TV! Definitely worked for our family
