I bought this mixer in despair on June 7 when I was in the middle of all the work on a wedding cake. My "Cadillac Mixer" went out on me and I couldn't find another one for under $600. (COVID bakers, I guess.) Any way, I ordered this cheap one and saved all the packing to ship it back when it failed. That's how sure I was that it was a worthless piece of kitchen clap-trap. But I was desperate. The cake and the icing, all the gum paste flowers and , now, a month's worth of daily baking and I have thrown away the packing. This little guy is doing all the work of the "Name Brand" and without the slung flour all over the counter. The splash guard on this one works. The suction feet are a real plus. ....Boy and I humbled by my misplaced arrogance. Hard to admit it, but I was a 'flat-earth' mixer buyer. Just look at that 5 star rating. I am amazed. Would recommend this in a heart beat. UPDATED at month 6: 20 batches of Christmas cookies, 18 lbs of fruitcake, umpteen loaves of bread, Christmas and Thanksgiving feasts.......and this bad boy is still humming along. You go, made-in-china guy!!!!
