Kent is not your common comb.
I am writing a review for a comb. Seems silly, right? All combs are the same, right?
Wrong.
Using a Kent Comb is like the difference between using a Bic Ballpoint Pen and a Mont Blanc Fountain pen. They will both get the job done, but they are not the same.
...
First you pull it out of the package and the weight surprises you, it's not heavy but it has a heft to it that you didn't expect. You admire the quality of materials.
Then you look at it, you can tell it is hand made and hand finished, only not in a bad way. The lack of injection molded burrs and total lack of a seam make you smile.
Then you run the comb through your beard and mustache, the feeling is akin to a hot butter-knife through butter. It doesn't scratch or bite at your skin, more of a massage than a combing.
You slip the comb in your pocket, proud of yourself.
Lastly, you walk to the bedside table and pick up the two cheap Ace combs you picked up at the local big box store before you knew better and you throw them in the trash.
You are now a Kent Man.
You order two more, just because.
