I'm revising my prior review.... When I first purchased the meta shelving unit I wanted to throw it out the window. I was so frustrated with the black plastic clips that support the shelves. After several days and thousands of attempts I finally got it to work. I highly recommend the manufacturer video. The instructions in the package are horrid. I was angry watching the video because I thought I understood how the concept of the clips worked. I attempted to assemble the shelves again and had much more success. When I first started I understood the plastic clips had together; however, they don't fit together 100%, which was driving me crazy! There is a ridge/lip on the inside of the clips. The trick is to start to push the clips together while simultaneously pulling down so you hear the 'snap.' Then the shelves will fit into the plastic clips opposed to pushing them down, which is exactly what was happening to me and why I wanted to throw the unit out the window. Approaching this after the video ,calmly, I had great success. I'm very happy with this purchase. This is a sturdy unit that can be used for any number of needs.
