After much reading up on this set, I took the plunge and bought it. I debated between this set and the set with the silicone handle bits. I choose this set as it has a higher temperature range and I broil alot. I was worried about the handles and lid handles getting hot on the stove. Not a problem. I was worried the about using lids when draining the pan. Again, not a problem. These pans are a dream to use. They are a good weight, clean up well and look great. The graduated measuring on the side is a nice extra. I took all my old cookware and gave it to a thrift store. Pictures 1.Baked on Mac & Cheese (soaked overnight) . 2.Five minutes later using nylon brush 3.Pouring liquid with built in lid strainer.
