Incredible Value
Used with: Samsung Galaxy S2, S4; Asus EeePC 1000h
As others have mentioned, these seem to be of a build template used by a number of generic BT headphone makers. As many others have also mentioned, they provide AWESOME bang for the buck.
I bought what was for all intents and purposes the exact same pair of headphones from a different manufacturer a couple of years ago. They barely made it a year. I would be impressed if these fared much better. Pressing the main function button alone is enough to make you wonder about how long the thing is going to last.
But for $15? Perfect. Couldn't be happier. Using both pairs, so far I've never had BT cut out on me unless I traveled outside of a reasonable distance (around 30 feet), no have I had phantom button presses. I've gone an entire week without charging (varied day to day use). I'm no audiophile, but I love music (from rock to hip-hop to jazz), and these handle music at all levels and frequencies just fine as far as I'm concerned. The mic works great for calls, and while riding a bicycle, no one on the other end has ever complained of wind noise. The fit is snug, but not tight. I've also worked out and run with them on with zero problem.
I'm still not sure how the last pair went kaput. It was either the death of the big, main function button, or the result of being sweat in and on.
But while I continue to wrestle with whether or not to finally shell out $100-200 for "quality" sports-ready BT headphones/buds that may or may not cooperate with my ears, I am more than happy to tide myself over with the fine, affordable and comfortable Soundbots.
Full disclosure: When you order these and write a product review, they promise to send you a free micro USB to USB charging keychain strap, which looks neato and would be better than carrying a normal USB cord around or having to have one handy away from home. The offer does not require a positive review.
