I am 5'5", 137-140 pounds with a 31" waist and 40" hips. I ordered both a 4 and a 6 to see which size I would like more. Although I had to shimmy my hips a tad to get into the size 4, the waist fit better than the size 6, which was a little too loose. I ended up keeping the size 4. I LOVE this skirt. I have 3 colors. When I went on vacation with my family I could carry my phone, lip gloss and cash all in different very secure and roomy pockets while not feeling like a rumpled tourist. SUPER cute!!
