The value- to- quality ratio for this microphone is crazy good. Unless you’re professional and need impeccable sound quality, buy this now… You won’t regret it. My test video was quick and non technical, the the quality of the audio through this mic is perfect for YouTube vids, voiceovers and vlogs where you’re not in a constantly moving/action state. I would imagine it would not be ideal for that. I did not do much of a test for background noise but I was fiddling with the mic for a bit and it sounded crunchy/sensitive. There was a lawn more in the background that could not be heard on the recording. Mine came with 4 mic muffs, and a PC/cam adapter. iPhone users- if your iPhone is newer and only has a lightning port, you need the 3.5mm to lightning adapter. ( this usually comes with the phone.
