Binding machine works well and is pretty quick to use, even when punching smaller quantities. Works great for standard size 8.5"x11" (or actually up to ~11.5" using the "cover" notches). Fortunately or unfortunately I had to take all my music books to Kinkos to have them rip the bindings as well as take ~0.25" off top and bottoms so the pages would fit in the machine. Machine is solid and easy to use, especially with standard paper sizes.
