Well, these other reviewers seem eager to jump on the hate bandwagon, so let's do a counter example. Note that nobody, including me is a verified buyer yet. Always a good sign. 1. It's a quad core processor. Yeah, it's AMD who is inferior to Intel, and yeah, it's an A6 and not an A8 or A10 (A10's are a little bit worse than i5's on average). AMD hasn't made a decent processor in like 4 years, so take it with a grain of salt. 2. 8GB's of ram for under $300?! That's incredible. Period. This isn't a gaming laptop and it's not worth $800 ever, the list price is false, but this is a ridiculously good amount of ram for a prebuilt laptop. 3. It comes with a decent sized Solid State drive. That makes this computer already way better than a lolchromebook as one commenter said would supposedly be better. Nope, this will destroy a Chromebook any day of the week. You know what is bad though? The resolution. That is an abominable resolution and should warrant a strong leer away. In fact, the resolution is so bad I subtracted a star. This would be a 5 star deal, were that resolution just a bit better, preferably 1080p. The arrow keys on the keyboard also are badly positioned, but the rest of it looks solid. This computer at retail is probably $450 tops. That being said, this is a great deal and if you want something on the cheap, the big advantage of AMD's mobile APU's is that they are essentially a micro-CPU/GPU combo. It's like having a low tier GFX card built in. You're not playing The Witcher 3 on this, but it'll handle casual games perfectly. A rock solid gift for a niece/nephew, anyone really under the age of 16, grandma's first computer, etc. It's a good buy that will last a long time.
