It is important that you are aware that Zicam Cold Remedy Rapid Melt is not actually a cold medicine. It's more like Airborne products or even Emergen C because it's meant to use right at the time you feel a cold coming on. What it's meant to do it shorten the length of your cold, and stop it in its tracks before it even begins. It's non-drowsy and homeopathic. The ingredients are Zincum Aceticum and Zincum Gluconicum which are supposed to aid your body in reducing the amount of time you have your cold for. It's a great citrus tasting melt, with actual vitamin C. The vitamin C is great for helping to get rid of a cold as well, because it helps out your immune system. With that being said, it does a really good job at stopping colds from happening even before it starts. It really does help from your cold from becoming severe. The only downside is that you have to catch your colds before they start getting worse otherwise this really isn't going to help you. Congestion Relief Does not help with congestion relief at all. Chest Congestion Relief Does not have ingredients that would help with chest congestion relief. Relief of Aches & Pains Zicam is not meant for the relief of aches and pains. Cough Suppression It didn't have any ingredients that would make it a cough suppressant. If you have a bad enough cold/cough I wouldn't recommend this for you, you are better off sticking to a cold and flu medicine.
