Prior to owning this Fisher-Price Tee-Ball set, we purchased the Little Tikes version (see last image below). There are several reasons I would recommend this Fisher-Price Tee-Ball set over its Little Tikes competitor. This Fisher-Price set: •Has a wider base which makes it more stable. This means it is not as easily knocked over when the tee is hit by the bat. •Secure holders for the ball and bat keep all of the pieces attached to the tee-ball set (Little Tikes version doesn’t have a bat holder unless you mount the unit to the wall. Because we didn’t do this, the bat was often misplaced). •Height adjustable tee (the Little Tikes version claims to be height adjustable but all I figured from that is to unscrew the tee, making it taller, but also making it very wobbly). •Bat guide. This ensures that if your little one aims a few inches too low, the bat guide with assist in connecting the bat with the ball (see the orange piece of the set). This can easily be removed. A couple advantages of the Little Tikes version is that it comes with a minimum of 2 balls, with the option to purchase 5 (Fisher-Price comes with 1 ball). Also, as mentioned previously, the Little Tikes set can be mounted to the wall if you are looking to conserve space. Overall, The Fisher-Price model is more sturdy, user friendly, and self-containing and it adapts to changes in your child’s height and ability.
