So I purchased this for myself. It was easy to use. I plugged into my USB and opened the camera app on my PC and it was instantly working. Figuring out camera orientation was a little tricky but that just involved rotating camera with your fingers. I've had very itchy ears and I've noted some whistling in my ear when I'm outside and wind blows in my ear (like wind blowing through crack of door). I thought I had compacted ear wax. Once I inserted camera, there was nothing. My ears were a little dry but everything looked good. I could even see my ear drum which was pretty cool. I asked my husband if I could use my new torture device, I mean camera on him. He eagerly agreed. As soon as I inserted camera into his ear you could see impacted wax. He had impacted wax in BOTH EARS. I said OMG you really can't hear me. To which he replied: I told you! I thought he'd been ignoring me when I spoke, that he had other things more important that what I had to say. As you can imagine, that can become quite irritating. Alas, I found out he really couldn't hear! The tools did very little to get the wax out as it hurt him so I gave up and made a doctor appointment. Perhaps this is better suited on those without impacted wax. You really need to be careful not to push the wax further into the ear canal. Otherwise this lightning deal may have saved my marriage. After he has wax removed, I will be sure to update this review to let you know if he still ignores me when I speak to him (Hehehe).
