Ok, I really like this stuff but first I had to fail to succeed.
I messed this up the first time and wasn't keen on it. This time I went in with a plan after reading more reviews.
#1 The floors MUST be clean, like surgery room sterile as hell clean. No dirt in the crevices or fuzzy ANYWHERE. Clean your floor like your life depends on it. Make sure it is completely dry before you start squirting.
#2 If you have rubbed off spots on the hardwood (that have no seal or clear coat left, yo!) Use a wood restorer and or wipe off wax before applying this stuff to make it look fresh fresh.
#3 Use a rectangular FLAT microfiber swivel mop, like from the Cheapy Dollar stores. Get a few extra pads if you plan on going balls out and doing the whole house.
#4 Spread this s**t everywhere on the floor that YOU'RE NOT STANDING OR WALKING ON. Be liberal. Squeeze and then squeeze again and then squirt for extra measure.
#5 With the cheapy mop spread that s**t everywhere! Don't go king kong and shove it into the floor, just glide the mop around to make an even covered coat. This stuff is not a suck into the wood kind of restorer, okay. It sits on top of the wood and hardens, like a protective clear coat.
#6 Give it atleast an hour to dry on the first coat, doubling the dry time for each additional coat UP TO 3 COATS in a 24 hr period.
#7 Watch where you leave that mop head ;)
Now, I am impressed and will be ordering more to do all my floors. I incorrectly predicted disaster this time and preferred not to have another failure documented. Next time, I'll add pics.
