Develop an Opening Repertoire
Robert Snyder's new book More Unbeatable Chess for Juniors fills in the gaps from his previous book Unbeatable Chess Lessons for Juniors. By using both books you can develop an opening system for the rest of your playing career. His new book does more than just fill in the gaps. It takes players into more advanced realms of analysis (especially in the opening). This book is for players who want to seriously work at developing their game and reach higher levels of chess artistry. This is the finest book of its kind since Euwe and Meiden's The Road to Chess Mastery (unfortunately out-of-print). For those who have read Mr. Snyder's earlier book, you will be glad to hear that he continues the same in-depth coverage of the game for players at all levels while still giving deep analysis for the stronger player. Players at any level can profit from this book. The publication of this book marks the completion of a set of books giving the full range of information Mr. Snyder uses to teach his chess students. Since I was the proofreader for his books, I can state that he put in a great deal of time to make his books the best value on the market for the serious player.
