I bought two of these directly from Alen around 6 weeks ago. I have 3 cats and one dog in an 1100 sq foot town home. I love having these! They keep hair and small dust out of the air and any time I cook (I do a lot of high heat wok and Indian cooking) it clears the smoke and smell within 30 minutes! The noise on high is noticeably loud in the bedroom so I keep it on 3/4 and the one in the living room I keep on turbo (4/4) all the time. It is a relaxing, methodical, low pink noise that I actually enjoy having at night. As a note, the filters for this are the same as the “Flex” filter by Alen. Update: been a bit over a year and I’ve replaced the filters twice. I’ll admit, filter replacements are a bit pricey. But the quality of this unit is great. I move them around often, keep them running 24/7 and the performance has not diminished. The noise level is also the same as when I purchased. Update: about two years now and still not happy with filter cost but they’re working great! Keep an eye out for periodic filter sales. Update 2: 3 years since I got the 45i and it’s awesome. We have two now. Absolutely no change in performance between now and 3 years ago. Can’t recommend it enough!
