I bought these specifically for one of my female cats because she's 19 years old and has lost a noticeable amount of weight in the last couple of months. She doesn't seem to be having any trouble eating dry food and they all get wet food several times a week, which she ignores sometimes depending on the flavor, so I 'm chalking up the weight loss to just being a wee elderly fur-lady. I was a little leery of paying so much for a whole pack of these (they aren't in any of my local stores so I couldn't just buy one to try) in case she didn't like it, but I'm glad I did. I'm happy to report not a drop was wasted. She INHALES these, in all flavors. I've been giving her one or two of these a day for the last couple of weeks supplemental and I've noticed she's already a little less bony. The other (plump) 19-year-old and the (healthy-size) 4-year-old fussy eater have clued in to my sneakily treating her and frequently get one as well. Yeah, they're not cheap, but our cats are family, and as this helps me care for someone I love deeply I'm going to pay it.
