This pillow comes with an extra pillowcase and is height adjustable in the sense that up to two layers of memory foam can be removed to accommodate the desired height needed for ultimate comfort. I have a memory foam pillow like this but it does not have the height adjustment and it is a bit harder. Also, that pillow is a bit too hard for me in any capacity. I decided to give this one a try. Unfortunately, I cannot sleep comfortably resting my head on this type of pillow. However, that is not the pillow's fault. Instead, I use this to prop up my back to reduce back pain and this works beautifully. I also use it to prop up my right arm similar to the way one would put a pillow between their knees for comfort. It also is wonderful for that. I did try both the high and low sides to rest my head on and it is super comfortable but I have to change pillows to a typical one to sleep. Nevertheless, I really love this pillow. I like that I can adjust the height by removing up to two layers of foam. It works wonderfully for me when I use this to prop up my back or arm to take away some pains I have. I love the softness compared to another brand I have. Although I cannot sleep on this with my head, that is not the fault of the pillow but I keep trying. Lastly, my cat Stephen loves the softness of this as can be seen in the third photo. He immediately settled in when I put this on the bed.
