These lights work great and are a unique Halloween decoration. We hung them in our front garden. I strung parachute cord first then attached the hats and light's wire to the parachute cord, When the wind blows, the hats catch a lot of wind. The parachute cord takes some of the stress off the light's wire. So far, the lights have been working for about 10 days. They come on automatically for 6 hours and are off 18 hours. Look good day and night.
