If you have realistic expectations you’ll be pleased
If you’re expecting RH quality linen for $60 this is not the duvet for you. If you want the look of linen but not the price and don’t want to be devastated if a kid/dog/spouse stains it, this is the duvet cover for you. I ordered a king size in “tannish gray.” I see very little gray, which is actually what I prefer. It’s a very pale khaki. The fabric doesn’t quite have the roughness to it that a more expensive linen fabric would but it definitely has the look. The wrinkling isn’t as relaxed and worn in like a nice pair of linen pants but I imagine an iron or steamer would easily remedy that. I washed and dried mine before making any final judgments, which I would highly suggest. The fabric seems to get better with washing. Pros: * the color is a very neutral khaki that matches with everything * the zipper is a lifesaver and much easier than buttons * each corner has a loop which I cut in half so I could attach to the down comforter * linen look for a fraction of the price * easy to wash (no high maintenance laundering needed) Cons: * it’s smoother than traditional linen * wrinkles galore….if this bothers you steer clear of percale and linen * the fabric is tightly woven and not as lightweight or breathable as I’d hoped
