I bought the 19" x 24" size so it was delivered flat and I'm satisfied with this product. I'm glad that it's not cheap plastic and it doesn't smell at all. This product isn't anti-slip but it hasn't annoyed me (it hasn't slid while I've used it). The thickness of this desk protector is about the thickness of a quarter. Depending on the angle, the desk protector might and might not look "clear". I also like how this product isn't flimsy and it has rounded corners so the tough plastic won't accidentally poke me. One side feels like the plastic doors of stand up showers but less abrasive. While the other side doesn't have that texture. My laser mouse works just fine on this desk protector. This item looks great on my solid wood desk. I'll be ordering my next one soon (: Hope my pictures help you more than my written review
