I have purchased two rugs before and donated them when I came across this one. Other reviews with pictures helped me decide. Everyone was right, this rug is simple yet versatile and was exactly what I was looking for. My light is very low, almost non existent so the colors may not be as accurate. Some pictures were with and without flash as well. I have the ivory rug, with grey accent in the 9 x 12 size. Size is accurate and it is soft and plush but not so much that I can not vacuum it. The grey is true grey, nice steel grey not silver. I can see where it would compliment other colors such as taupe or green because it can lean that way in some light. All my accessories are beige, dark mahogany/espresso and white as well as grey so this was perfect. The lines on the rug measure approximately 1.5" wide. These pics are of the rug literally unrolled. Not stepped on or fluffed up. The ivory threads appear to have a taupe/light tan woven in it, bringing the overall appearance to a nice cream/ivory color. You can't see those threads unless you pull them open. I like them, it makes the rug look nice and neutral instead of stark white like the stock photo has you believing. Again, my lighting is low so I posted a pic with a cream color candle as well as a white decor item to show you. For me, with dark furniture and dark floors, this helped brighten and open the space perfectly. I also already had a rug pad so I placed this on top to protect my floors giving it the plush soft feel under our feet. Also, my rug did not have an odor like others mentioned. It came wrapped in heavy plastic with what appeared to be shower caps on each end protecting the ends from the dirt and debris. Packaged extremely well.
