What drew me to this book initially was the man on the cover! (I love that each cover introduces you to the main character for those 3 books. It allows you to feel like you know them personally!) But, after reading the blurb, I knew it would be a story I could really get into. I love mythology of all kinds. This wraps up so many legends and myths into one and the reader embarks on a modern day journey that is still full of old tales and rivalries, that the author beautifully weaves into a modern understanding. The characters have enough time in all the books to develop fully. (I was hooked into each book because I really wanted to know what would happen next.) The author likes to let each chapter come from a different persons’ point of view, and this allows many different characters to be presented, even when it is not their particular story. Kian and his clan are a great bunch (the sex in the stories is a nice bonus). I have to slow my reading down, because I don’t want to be without for too long, until the next book comes out. I love that the author has plans for continuing the story line and I’ll be right there with her until the end, which I hope does not come soon. Thank you for these! 8/15/20 update: I'm on book 42 and still loving this series!! This world just keeps getting bigger and better and I'm on pins and needles waiting for each new episode. 6/2/22 update: Book 60 and this series is still one of the best ever! I hope it continues for a long time since there is still SO much to get to. We may have to pitch in for body guards for Ms. Lucas to make sure nothing happens to her until it's done!!
