Moved into a home built in the 60's over 13 years ago and had nothing but root woes. 1-2 times per year I had to hire a rooter company to snake my line and get huge balls of roots out. Sometimes they had to bring the water jetter or come back and try to retrieve their snake cable due to it getting stuck. Finally the rooter company suggested RootX treatments. I decided to try it. I decided to drop them when they messed up and overcharged me on a different plumbing project and found that I could just do the RootX treatment myself. Been using RootX for over 3 years and I do not have to call a plumber to snake the line on my sewer since. I invested in my own sewer rooter snake earlier this year just because I decided to take on my own plumbing issues without paying to have it done. For shins and grits, I decided to run the snake down my sewer line to see if I could snag any roots at all. I ran it almost 70 feet out and it came back clean! Update: I want to try to keep this review up-to-date. It's been another year since I left this review, and I'm STILL 100% root free! Update 2: 2 years since I left this review, and still root and problem free! (For a total of 5 years problem-free). I will try to update annually.
