Great introductory steame
Got mine early last week. I work cleaning a commercial kitchen in a small restaurant and wanted to try to find something that would help reduce chemicals used to clean a reasonably neglected commercial stove I had recently been tasked with cleaning. Thought I would try steam but didn’t want to jump right in to the higher priced models until I had gained some familiarity and had some sense that steam was really going to help. Well, I was actually shocked. I can’t say it was any faster then using very expensive commercial carbon cleaners but I will say the speed and ease of use of this was about neck and neck with chemicals. Yes it takes a bit of effort but in the end there isn’t nearly the mess to clean up because most of the water has evaporated away. I brought the steamer home to try it out on the grout lines in my shower. Knocked that out so fast and still had hot water so just kept going. After a couple of hours I had steam cleaned every single inch of my bathroom and I do not think it has ever been cleaner since being in this house. I still intend on buying a more advanced model likely toward the end of summer. And at that point wil bring the neat home where it will stay and use the more advanced model in the commercial kitchen. Likely the Tosca but unsure just yet. Only suggestion I have is if you prefer this, go to Dupray’s website and order 10 of the Little nylon brushes. They are great but keep in mind they are nylon and sitting next to a 275 degree heat source that makes them soft and they don’t hold there shape well. I can usually get 1-2 projects done, per brush till I clean them and throw them in a ziplock thinking I may find another use for them another time. Anyway. I do recommend the product.
