I wish I had found this years ago!! I have Keratosis Pilaris, a condition in which dead skin doesn’t slough as it should. KP leaves rough red bumps on the skin similar in appearance to chicken skin. I regularly exfoliate but nothing has worked like this mitt. You can literally (and I do mean literally) see the dead skin coming off onto the mitt. There are no special soaps, lotions, or creams to use with it. In fact, you want just wet, well soaked skin with no other hygiene products while you exfoliate with the mitt. Wash and moisturize after exfoliation. I feel absolutely clean after using it! Obviously, the mitt does not alleviate the pre-existing redness of KP. However, given that dead skin can’t continue to build-up if the mitt is used regularly, I don’t expect I’ll see new redness. I highly recommend that anyone with KP, or anyone just wanting soft, healthy, radiant skin start using this mitt today. You’ll notice the rough skin disappear nearly instantly. The instructions for use suggest once weekly exfoliation but I have used it daily with no issue. The mitt material is thin and I read several reviews about the fabric tearing because of this. I have not had this issue because I do not tug on the mitt itself to remove it. The mitt has a very sturdy, thick and tightly fitted elastic wrist cuff which I use to remove the glove carefully. I even use this glove to exfoliate my face using light pressure. You won’t regret purchasing this mitt.
