My 18 year old son borrowed my car and gave a drunk friend a ride home. Drunk friend puked all over the back seat and floor. My son, bless his heart, used to VINEGAR - a whole gallon of it - to clean the puke out of my car. He literally just poured it onto the floor and let it pool and soak through. And dumped it over my seat anywhere there was puke. The vinegar definitely took out the puke smell, but HOLY VINEGAR! I gagged on the smell every time I got in my car. I even got it detailed inside in an attempt to shampoo out the smell. It didn't work. So I dumped HALF of this bag all over the back seat and floors, rubbed it in really well, and then left it overnight. The next day, I didn't smell ANY TRACE of vinegar. After vacuuming it up (which was not very difficult at all), I could just barely smell a hint of vinegar. I used the rest of the bag a week later, and so far, I haven't smelled any more vinegar at all. Brilliant job!
