I purchased this to make Keto bread. I had never heard of using Psyllium husk powder for baking, but thought I would give it a try. Was I surprised! It actually makes a really great tasting bread. The recipe can be turned into buns for hot dogs or hamburgers, or dinner buns. Right now I am baking a sort of flat bread with it, which I plan to split for sandwich slices. It has a very soft bread-like texture, with a believable crust. I think it is too soft to bake in a loaf pan and slice, as I think it needs the crust to give it the stability a person wants in a sandwich. Anyway, the one thing I found out is that the bread has a purplish cast to it. After more reading on the subject, I found this is common with some brands of psyllium husk powder. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
